Any rumours on a 450 to compete with a yfz450??

 

No don't start any rumors because then every body is going to be desperate* and wanting to know if it's true, though suzuki is going to come up with one, don't know if suzuki is going to let the copy them again.

 

Kawasaki did make already a quad to compete with the raptor,but It was a 700, and it failed to beat the rappy.

 

I doubt any time soon. all the dirtbikes are complaning cuz kawi hasn't even made a 450 MXer yet. so when kawi omes out with a 450 mx dirt bike, add one or 2 years to that and thats when you'll se a kawi kfx450.

 

The V-force was not made to compete with the raptor, it was simply an easy way for Kawi to get into the big bore sport quad market by sharing engine parts with the Prairie. If, however, Kawasaki was serious about competing with the raptor, there is no doubt that Kawi would be on top. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

dude, kawi isn't the greatest, and anyways if kawi beat the raptor im sure that yamaha would do something about it

I agree warriorbansheeboy, kawie is not the best infact they have made some bad choices lately they stopped making the lakota (2003) mojave (2004) the only good change was the bayou 220 to a 250 but we and my friends tested them and there is not a big difference at all, and i dont know what they are thinking but they better do something quick about it because they will lose a lot of business. I think they should come out with a newer mojave with z250 plastics, mojave motor, z250 frame and name it the KFX250 then maybe they will do better in business. Yamaha would never let kawie be better than them period.

 

Even though i do ride kawie, i still love em and i plan on a KFX400 in the near furture.

2002, Prairie 650 vs Grizz
2004 Prairie 700 vs Grizz
2005 BF 750 vs Grizz

Seems to me Yamaha always lets Kawie be better than them in the sport ute class!!
