PrairieDust. With those big tires try a different primary spring. I like the Dalton Orange/Blue, but the EPI red may be a better choice to restore bottom end power & get power to those 27" Meats you're running. The Red spring has more stall than the Orange blue and takes some getting use to and fettering the throttle in off camber/tricky hills..

With my mods I can get on the throttle harder on takeoff now without it coming up & over so quickly.

With the #42 pilots I had to turn my airscrew all the way in to 1 turn out at the most with 138/142 Keihins and it as still puffing black smoke at idle and you could'nt be in an enclosed room when you started it without your eyes immediately watering and gettin lightheaded.

Be sure your slide springs are in properly (shim did'nt fall out or spring binding when putting slide back together), your throttle cable is adjusted properly and not binding (turn your handlebars & see if it affects idle speed) your choke is not sticking & you don't have any air leak around your carb manifolds.

Try the Dyna, I think they got the bugs out now, at least the second one I got has performed flawless so far. Night and day difference from stock & extremely wheelie prone.

The pilots are the N424-22-XX Series of pilots, 28mm in length, available from carb parts warehouse online, www.carbparts.com
