I just got my Kawasaki Mojave back from being worked on and the second day went in some deep mud. Well I got her stuck. My friend Jess was on his Kawasaki Bayou 300 Full time four wheel drive and pulled me out. And right after that it would not start. So he pulled me and got me started, but after that it would keep cutting off.A while after that it was fine. The mud didn't get in the breather and I don't know what happened. But I did just get a brand new pistin kit and everything. What could it be besides that. Because now it runs fine now.

Depends on if it was cutting out because of loss of spark or loss of fuel. Can't tell you for sure. Since it was wet could have been because you got some electrical stuff wet. Or could have got some water in the fuel.

It won't hurt it, just make it run like crap. Now if you totally sunk it, then that would hurt it if you got water in the cylinder. Get that water out as fast as possible and change the oil then change it again when its all warmed out to get all the water out.

I can tell you, that there's a good chance, that you got water splashed into your filterbox, & the engine sucked water... Probably 80% of the 2 wd quads that run the local mud races, get water sucked into the engine, while going through the pit.... It's easy to see when it happens, as extra steam comes out of the exhaust... I've even seen it happen in very knarly mud pits, with my wifes 300 Prairie... it's not good for the engine, as there will likely be more abrasive particals carried through the air filter, with the water, than what would pass through with dry air... if you have any air box mods, or the box comes with an open, unsnorkled area, a snorkle, & or some duct tape will help you alot, before you hit those mud holes...

This is Gump's Dad. A little chuckle to tell you. While I was at work I get a message to call home. Not urgent. So I brreze by home and notice my son and my truck are not there. I am met by my wife at the door. The child has kicked the chain off his 4 wheeler and he thought they should take the truck to retrieve it. My son is 13 and my wife is blond. Nuff said. She also struggles to tell me that the truck is stuck. So I go to the scene of the crime and there it is my sweet Dodge Ram 4x4 dug in but not stuck.
Just a sincere loss of traction. Luckily Gump stopped mom before she buried both bumpers. Gump by now is on scene and terrified that he may be choked by dear ole dad. Mom also forgot that it was 4WD.
Well after a little coaxing in low range my red and now siginfigantly brown truck emerges . We fix Gump's chain and go home. Not before most of the community has passed the scene returning home from work. I was told by my dad that payback is a b#&$h. Well a sense of humor and patience and Gump will be okay. Mom is still Blond but the light of my life. Thanks for looking out for him on this forum.
