gas leaking from my drain tube how do i stop it?HELP!

If it's the bowl vent you have trash under the inlet needle valve or the float is stuck for some reason. Take the bowl off and clean the valve and check the float and make sure it is not hanging up.

I've got a Prairie and had the exact same thing happen. Turns out the float needle and seat were gunked up. Make sure to clean both, especially the seat, real good. Use scotchbrite on the seat to get all the gunk off it. Don't just spray it with carb cleaner and blow it off.

You can bend the tab (it's very thin, soft metal - brass I think) that the needle is attached to. Bend it upwards if you want to lower the amount of fuel in the bowl (so that it shuts the fuel off sooner) or bend it down to raise the level. Usually in the shop manual it shows what the float level should be... sometimes the dealer sells a special gauge / tool that helps you measure it. I have usually eye-balled it and done trial and error until it seems right.
