Default BF or KQ?

I agree. I'm going to drag them January 4th before the National Championship game. I'm having some friends over that evening. I'll post the results that night. We'll race two distances, 100 yards and 300 yards. How are you going to race them? We need to share our results so that we can get a better idea of how real world drags shape up. I heard that SP800 is a beast.

For a 800lb quad, it gets up and goes quick. I plan on doing a 300' and a 660' or 1/8 mile. I have no place to do a 300 yard race.

GE4x4,

If you don't mind me asking which do you like better, I'm guessing the SP800? CAM650 did a great comparison would you have the time to give us yours between these two?

I'm wondering why anyone but buy one of each if one was better than the other but I'm listening. Thanks.

I don't have the seat time on the 800 to make that call yet. I do like the low end of the 800 much better the the KQ. The 800 will lift the front with ease, yet the KQ even on pavement won't lift the front on it's own. Plus the tires and rims are way better too. I also weighed both wet with no tires on to get a real weight difference. I did this because everyone has different tires and wheels, but the quads don't change. The sp800 came in at 678lbs wet with the tires weighing 124lbs. The KQ came in at 561lbs with the tires and rims coming in at 84lbs.

What about the handling differences between the KQ and the SP800?
