Help! How do I remove a 2002 Prairie 300 seat?
Help, help! I just purchased a 2002 Prairie 300 two days a ago, got it home and this morning woke up to 12" of snow and temperatures in the 20's. Of course the battery is too weak to turn over the engine. No problem, I'll just bring the battery in and recharge it and get ready for fun times in the snow.
Wooops! I think the battery is under the seat but how do you remove the seat? The guy I bought the machine from won't be home until after Christmas, according to his wife. Please help, I can't wait to get going in the snow.

Hooray, I finally found a dealer (number 3) who didn't tell me it was under the seat. It isn't. It's a pull ring (a black one) located under the rear shelf that's over the rear wheels. It's to the immediate left of the small plastic tool box. One pull and the seat is off. Thanks for your help guys. It took a while but I got my answer and I hope this will help anyone else having the same problem.
