My 360s fan doesnt cut on any more even when it is hot and when I ride for a while the and then cut it off then go to ride again and push the gas the motor chokes down. What could be the problem? I have a tag in the rectangle part infront of the oil cooler. I just can t figure it out.

After you start it again & ride, does it bog down for a few seconds & then it's fine again?

I had the same problem myself, & what I and others have concluded is the gas tank is overheating & causing vapor lock.. Try insulating your gas tank & that should solve your problem. However if your fan is not working, this of course would most likely be aggrivating the problem & I'd suggest getting it fixed 1st, this might also eliminate your problem.

The fan problem is a faulty fan control switch on the left side of the oil cooler.
I put a manual switch on mine so I can turn it on every time I start the motor.
Don't want that switch not workin in the 100 degree New Mexico summer.
The other deal is vapor lock like Uinthas said. Pipe heats up the fuel tank .
Header wrap and a piece of foil heat insulation glued to the tank cures it all.

Today I went riding and still the same. What kind of insulation do you use and where do you put it? I never had this problem until the fan stopped working. And my oil light came on today and it wasnt low so it had to have been at a high temp and I just happened to look in my gas tank and where the stem that goes to the gas line and into the carburator it was bubbling but nowhere else in the tank. Does it always do that or just when its hot or what?
