My dealer told me yesterday when I was in there that he had to put new needles in every BF he had in stock. Said Kawi told him to.

Rivermud, I also ta;lked to my dealer, and they told me no recall on the BF carb. We need to find it in writing and poster their front doors for other customers to see

Thats strange, He was acting like it was a big pain in the a$$ that he really didnt feel like messing with. I doubt he would be doing them for no reason. I agree, we need to see the TSB and post it. I will see if I can get it. Any techs out there know anything about this?

I was told it was a tech service bulletin and not a recall. If someone has a problem with there quad that is suggested by Kawi as the fix. My dealer did the fix to the quads he had in stock because they had the issue and he didnt want it to hamper sales during test rides. So they will not contact you or ever claim theres a recall. Hope that helps.

Its almost to the point if you find a good dealer, stick with them no matter what the brand. Good dealers are rare! They deny tech bulletins, went through that with Yamaha dealers. Same old song and dance man. But you buy your machine from them they usually are better with ya then the average Joe.
