My 2002 650 prarie has stopped starting in gear while holding either brake in. To be honest it is a royal pain in the ***. Anyine dealt with this issue before? I'm guessing its in a switch or relay somewhere.

Mine never would start if it was in gear. Always had to be in neutral with the green light on. Have I been missing something here?

 

I could always start mine in gear if I engaged the brakes, I know the rear hand brake, Now nothing, it must be in neutral. SO i'm guessing I have a switch or relay failure of some type.
