Default Snow plow mount kit and skid plates?

Hey all . I have an 03 p650 with the Ricochet skid plate package. Does this block the mounts where one would attach a plow? I got the $69 Warn plow deal with my 05 Kodiak, and the dealer will give me either the Kodiak or Prairie mount kit. I figured since the prairie was a lot bigger, I'd use that for plowing, but wondered if the skid plate would prohibit me from attaching the mount. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. After reading your thread and seeing the pics, screw that. I'm just going to mount it on the Kodiak, which is totally stock, and not have to drill or notch or mess with anything. I would have rather plowed with the prairie because of its size, but oh well, the kod450 has enough juice for a 48" plow. Too bad they only give you 48" with the $69 warn deal - but oh well, it was only $69

It took me longer to get the skid plate off & on than notching it out.

I don't want to have to mess with taking off the plate, cleaning and re-loctiting the bolts, notching/drilling, etc. The mount kit will be much simpler to bolt up to the kodiak. Plus the kodiak starts and warms up so much easier in cold weather than the prairie.
