John, you don't need to take anything apart. The pilot screw is right next to the bowl on the carbs, you can reach it without removing anything. Heres a pic
Its a small flat head screw. Screw it in all the way, screw it out 2 1/2 turns.
US models don't have primers, Carb Pic

Still no luck. I've tried all of this stuff, and the machine REALLY wants to start. It fires up an runs for a couple of seconds, and chokes off - like its flooded. It feels like fuel starvation to me, but it's a straight line from the petcock to the fuel tank.
What are your feelings about starter sprays into the ait intake?

John disconnect your fuel line from petcock to tank. Get you a container to catch waste gas and then turn on your key. You should get a steady stream of fuel. If you don't or it interrupted by spurts, either you have someting blocking pickup in tank, fuel line clogged, your fuel pump fuse needs reseated and or fuel pump/circuit checked, or your fuel pump is bad. Remember gas is flammable before you go chasing sparks.
If you get steady stream fuel, reconnect to petcock, but disconnect line at carb to petcock, disconnect two bolts from petcock and put fuel line to the carb end in waste bucket and turn key on again while you cycle your petcock & observe flow. if different you may have rubber seals deteriorated/clogged petcock or need new petcock. Deteriorated parts from petcock or foreign object from gas tank can lodge anywhere in your fuel line from tank, carb, Main, or pilot jet holes. Inspect & Blow out all fuel lines, jets and holes where they screw in carb with air gun on low pressure.
Happy Trails,

John, this is the best website you could use to troubleshoot your machine. Sure sounds like a fuel problem to me.http://atv.dnsalias.com
