i painted my plastic and it looks like crap
how do i get the paint off REPLY FAST

 

Well.... first i need to know what type of paint you used. was it a latex (waterbased) or an enamel (oilbased). Then you will need to find a paint remover that will not harm plastic and CAREFULLY apply and remove your paint. Be careful not to get the paint remover on any other parts etc as it can be very caustic. Your original paint will most likely be screwed up but hopefully not to bad. Why the heck did you aping it in the first place?

normally mineral spirits will get it off without harming plastic (depending on type of paint). or maybe accetone do it lightly and also do a small test spot on the inside of the fender to make sure it dont harm plastic. Whatever you use I would do a test spot in a non visable place.

 

this may or may not help you, but for others who may want to paint their quad, Krylon makes a fusion paint to use on plastics. they sell it at cabelas in camo colors or you can look up "kylon fusion paint" for other colors.
