Default mojave rear shock

Can the rear shock be recharged? Does it take air or some special gas? Can I do it myself? 90 Mojave 250.

Is it an aftermarket shock or is it a stock?

Well if that's the case than no, if you had an aftermarket shock with a preload bottle than you can get a new bottle and that's like recharging it. If i were you i would look into a 250r shock on ebay for cheap for your mojave it will bolt right on with minor changes. You can pick one up for 250 at the most for a nice shock. I'll help you out with anything just let me know.
