I would have done the same thing, good choice in my opinion. NOW that lift kit and oversized tires are a concern however. They will work your axles and joints hard, you'll want to keep a close eye on them, maybe consider aftermarket joints made for lift kits, I think High Lifter makes them or Gorilla.

and why if you guys pay $12,000 for a quad, why don't people buy them in the US and go sell them in Canada?

 

I don't know about other areas of the country,but resales on sleds are terrible!After a couple of years the price drops right off on them.Besides,you can ride the wheeler all year not just 2-4 months!

Get yourself a CDI or a module for that rig asap.I have a module I could sell you.It really wake's up the monster inside.The low end benifits are unbelievable!!!

here people buy them and turn around and sell them ,,after they run them . there just , well keepable there used and price worth drops quick. test the quad and if you like it trade him maybe get a little extra with it from the guy like gear or something its fair trade actually

i could NOT sell it and get a brute force or anything else with the money i got from the sled because i wouldent get that much money for it.
i dont know what your money is worth where you come from but here in canada i could of got ten grand for the sled IF i held out for it.
but a new brute froce is 10500 and then there is taxes.
so i could never sell it and get a new quad with all the stuff this one has for that much money.
i think i did ok and my son is happy.
so thats all that matters.
and now i have a choice of quads to ride when i go out by my self.
or i have another person to ride with when my son or daughter wants to come along.
its win win eather way i look at it.
because i get to do one more thing with my kids now.

Well considering its a brand new 05, and the M-series only came out last year, and they are par none the best mountain sled you could buy, im pretty sure if u flopped it on Ebay u coulda stroked 8 grand out of it...That and I wouldve kept it...mostly cus thats one of my dream sleds. Another thing being i wouldnt give you 15 bucks for a 04 700 kawi(ok i lie i would give u 15 bucks for it...thatd been the best deal ive ever come across!!). Hell if I had won that I woulda moved to the rockies just to put the sled to good use!
