Spark plug- tighten it 'till it strips, then back off a 1/4 turn. No, jost kidding sorry. But yeah, the spark plug is yeah- not your lug nuts like on a 3/4 ton truck, don't over do it..... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

after the spark plug thing ,i would suggest you take it to someone else to adjust the valves. my opinion[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

I didn't strip it out... when i first got it home was driving it to the shed and pop lost power... after some digging found out it was previously stripped... still scared to dig into the motor... don't mind oil changes and such...

get a haynes or clymers manual BEFORE you touch anything. read about your project (i do it in the bathroom) the day before so you know what you need as far as tools for the project. they tell you about problem fasteners ,special tools ,etc. those books kick *** !!! for $25 you can save hundreds on little jobs alone. the only thing i havent done is a bottom end of a motor, not sure about gear condition,forks,and so on.but i would do the mojave if necessary in the future. the reason i said that earlier about get someone to do it was i dont know you. some people are not mechanically inclined (thats ok) ,but you must know your limitations. i know mine . ill do everything i think i can tackle....and NO MORE!!!!
