Default DYNA Box ...Bad out of the box...!

I just got back from my shop , I just installed a new DYNA and I was working on the 700 Prairie , I put a new set of plugs and rejetted the carb down ...It was a little rich with the stock box ...Turns out the rear coil was not firing with the DYNA box ...! I put the stock box back on and it ran great ...
Any one have any problems sending one back ...It's on the card , I will dispute this piece of crap ...I don't want another or mine fixxed .
Thanks
Greg

Take a look at the "Dyna dissapointment" thread. A few of us that have got them recently got bad ones. It appears as though they got some bad parts and let a batch of them out that are no good. I am gonna let them send me a new one. I have read a lot of good things about them, so I will give them another shot.

I don't understand how they can let the bad ones slip out, but when they work correctly, they are worth it... also there is little to no failure rate, on the CDI's, if it was good to start with...

I tried one of the dyna cdi's from my friends 700. It runs ok on his, but mine wants to misfire like it has a dead cylinder. It seems to finiky to me. Their is no reason to get bad new ones because they should be checking them before they ship anyway? I just went with a dg5 and have no trouble or jetting to do. Mine is hidden and really get people I race that don't know. I mean I can stay right even up to about 65, and then they might pull a little and run 1 or 2 mph more on top. We always run out of room, and they get mad when they think a stocker is keeping up after they spent $250 for black box.

throw that $25.00 clutch mod on there, & you'll easy pick up another 5-7 mph top speed... with no losses any where else...

IMO, this is way past due... you can get better milage, less motor wear, & run cooler, all with one simple little trick...
