Default fouling plugs

Hey Force 2!

I am going through that same think now. The main and pilot jets in the carb on my Prairie came from the factory with jets for sea level operation.

I had to call the dealer and get the correct part number.

There may be some after market retailers with the same info, but I wouldn't know bout that.

All Kawasaki dealers should have the info you need.

good luck

Force2 & TallTexan visit: http://www.smellofdeath.com/lloydy/jetting.htm

Both of you save yourselves the trouble and visit your hardware store prior to starting jet job and get you some metric allen head screws(need matching allen head wrench also) in .04 X14MM and replace your Carb bowl screws (Need 16 to replace top & Bottom). Stock phillip head sscrews strip very easily.

Easiest way I've found is to get at the carb bowls is to remove top CVT exhaust clamp, fuel petcock, and right side coil. Once items are laid aside you can access all the bowl screws. If you got to adjust needles I've found removing the air filter housing/plastic allows access to top Carb cover screws/needles.

Happy Trails,

Hey Ken:

Thanks for the reply. I am rejetting cause it's a new machine, jetted for sea level, and I live at 6500 foot elevation.

Hard to start, and running rich. I am taking it back where I bought it in Odessa Texas to have the work done.

I will ask the service manager to do what you suggest.
