I'm pretty sure he was referring to a 750 SRA quad.

Thanks, guys. You all are giving me some insight here.

Although the extra 64 cc's would be nice, I think the $500 would be better spent on some tires. Then start saving for a pipe, cdi, and jets. I can mod the 650 fairly extensively so I don't think power will be an issue.

Looks like I'll be a Kawi man before long.

One more twist...

Is there any reason to not buy a Twin Peaks rather than the Prairie? I have an excellent quote on a Twin Peaks. I prefer a red Kawi, but if I can't get it...

They are the same bike other than plastic and stickers, right?

I suppose a Suzuki dealer has to perform warranty work on a Twin Peaks? Or can a Kawi dealer warranty this "Suzuki?"

Thanks for all your input.

Twin peaks is clone of Prairie 700, just in Blue or Yellow Plastic.. Everything Identical

Hard to tell what color they are after you get through a few Mudholes

Anyone know what a Twin Peaks/P700 invoices for? I found a dealer with an 04 TP willing to go $100 over invoice. I haven't been able to talk to him yet for the final number.

Now I just need to know what the invoice is!

Anyone?

Slow down and smell the liters.

This is the time of year the dealers are trying to move inventory at good prices since not many people are buying right now. My dealer told me two weeks ago he just has a skeleton crew right now.

Ride and time all 3 of them. I don't believe the the BF650 is as fast as the P700 if that is important to you. It is to me out on the trail when some hot dog passes me and 100 yards later he looks around to see I am right there to go around him if I choose to. That P700 power is definitely important to me when trail riding. Never raced anybody to top end with either my P650 or the new P700. That's cause nobody has ever offered. I know the 700 is faster than my 650, and the 650 is fast. And the 700 does not have a CDI or quicker primary spring like the 650 has.

Ride all 3; more than once if you want. I think you'll go with the P700, especially if it's in Team Green.

Let's face it, $500 shouldn't be the difference in getting exactly what you want, when you add up all the costs of just one ATV season with the quad, truck, trailer, RV?, $2.00+ gas (aaargh!), beer, food......

The quad is just the start of that sucking sound around the wallet area.

The good part about your choice is, you can't go wrong.
