Default how do you reset the belt light on the 700p

hey everyone.
i have a questionto ask.
my 700s belt light just came on the other day and i was wondering how you reset the light.
i have checked the belt and it seems ok but i cant seem to figure out how to reset it.
i called the dealer and all he would say is bring it in and we will do that for you.
but the dealer is 40 miles away and i dont plan to go to town for at least a week.
so if anyone can tell me how to reset the light i would appreatiate it.
thanks ken.
