Hey tall texan, I grieve with you---this is one of my major complaints with the 360---many times I have loosened the clamps to twist the carbs to ajust that *#@*&^% screw. I actually ripped the rubber boot that holds the card onto the head and had to replace it. Lately though, I have bought a long flex screwdriver---if you start back far enough, you can get the screwdriver under a motor mounting bolt (I think thats what it is) and it will go into the pilot adjustment. It is still not easy (wear gloves or you will get burned) but it is doable. Little things like that really pee me off. I also do not like resetting that stinkin belt light every 100 hours. But on the other hand, I ride the 360 pretty hard and so far no major complaints or breakdowns.

Mike, you disconect the belt trip switch wiring harnes (the small one that goes to the little box on the CVT cover) then you take the rear black wiring harnes & interswitch it with the gray wiring harnes, in other words black - gray on both ends, but be sure you get the correct black one there are 2 of them, the correct one is stuffed the farthest back, I dont think the other black one will mate with the gray anyhow, so you cant get it wrong. After you interchange those wriing harness, turn on the key (do not start it) & both 4wd & belt lite should blink real fast for 8 seconds (you can go longer dont matter) then turn key off & reconect the wiring harness black-black, gray-gray & then reconect the small wiring harnes to the cvt cover & your done!
Talltexun it is a bit of a pain to turn that screw, I however would not recomend that stupid specail tool, to much money!! What I have found to work the best is a small standard screwdrier bit, the smaller the better, you can just get your hands under there & turn it with that bit, it was a bit tircky at 1st but Iv'e done it so many times now it's second nature, just be patient & you'll get her done!
Oleman, good to see you around, I posted on Nyroc site that I have purchased the pink spring, I havn't gotten out to ride any yet because all it does is rain here on my days off, however what I know about it so far I do like. Another guy on Nyroc site also said that the stock P-700 spring works as well as the pink EPI & he only paid $8 for it, maybe ronayers has it for that price also I havn't looked. Also my 2500ci warn is arriving today complete with mounting bracket, I belive you have the same winch, any advice on install?? Is it a big pain, or not to bad??

Hey Guys!!
Thanks for the reply. I tried cutting of(bout 1 1/2 inches) a small screwdriver, well all I did was fry my hands.
I called the dealership, and they haven't even bought one of those tools, so I am out of luck there, anyway there is about 300 feet difference in elevation from the dealers to my place in the West Texas Mountains,=....
so I ordered one today, the dealer told me he would sell it to me at cost.
I had a 20002 300 prairie, and I think the quality control, engineering has gone down hill.
I read a thread on here bout some guy that broke the choke lever in cold conditions, and he really ranted and raved, I guess I can see how he feels..
anyway I like the machine cwpt for that.. No major problems so far (knock on wood)..
thanks again

You might want to try adjusting it while the motor is off and cold. Most likely you know its close...and you only want to bump it a bit more rich or lean, and if its not enough or too much, redo it the next time you start it up. Just keep track of the amounts and directions you go. A #4 flat bit, from sears or wherever, with a long shank, works pretty good for me, there isnt alot of resistance to the screw, and it turns easily.

oops, ment 3000 feet difference in the elevation.
I need to adjust the carb at the altitude the atv is running at.
I already put in the new pilot jet, and it is adjusted at 1 1/2 turns from being bottomed out, motor is hard to start, backfires.
I have the idle adjustment all the way open to where it is compressed against the spring and won't go any more.

look at the 2nd screwdriver form the bottom on this page
I just bought one a few weeks back,,,,and it works perfectly,,,,,it even has a dial on the handle so you know exactly how far you have turned it
MotionPro has awesome tools that make a lot of stuff really easy
I wish i had an entire set.
