My new 145 jet doesnt have a slot in it for screw driver?

This must be the wrong one correct? It is a Klein (sp) 145 but its longer and hex shaped.
So if I dont to 142/145 should I shim to .02 or .04?
Thanks !

some jets only have the hexed heads and some only the flat slots for screwdriver double check the kit and if it is the right one then use the hex socket that fits

If it has a hex head, and is longer....you got the wrong one. The threads are most likely different as well.
keihin jets
If you look at this page, The jets you need are the second one down, for cvk carbs. Youve got the jets for the third one down, with hex heads, for totally different carbs. All are keihin, but use different jets. Even if you could thread them in....dont. Get the correct jets, and youll be much happier.
Shimming the needles and making the mains bigger, effect two different throttle positions. The needles effect 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, and the mains effect 3/4 to full throttle.

Mine look like the 3rd one down, not the second. So I guess I got the wrong stuff
