forget about deals.use the oem parts they are the best quality kawasaki uses ntn bearings which are made in japan.I recently replaced mine with a moose kit and the bearing in the kit were made in china.Guaranteed i'll be replacing them sooner than the original set.

If you can get the old bearings & seals take them to a NAPA Auto Parts, they can cross reference the bearings to all kinds of brands. I replaced bearings on a friends Artic Cat and saved well over $70 on bearings alone. NAPA had all the parts in stock.

I have some detailed pictures of the swingarm bearing change in my website if interested. Look in the Pairie 650 modifcations folder and you will see the swingarm bearing replacement folder in there.

Rockymountain atv has a kit for $25. I heard through another rider that these were ok. Has anyone else tried these?

I cross referenced the bearing and race and got them for about 1/3 the price the kawie dealer wanted for them. If you wanna order from kawie, the OEM bearing is part number 92116-1001. The bearing itself is identified as BEARING-ROLLER,4T30203E1. Timken 30203 will fit right in there and cost you way less than OEM.

blah a bearing is a bearing is a bearing. buy cheap, cause the mud will ruin them no matter how good or bad they are. i think my brother used oem ones and our friend used moose bearing kit, so in about another 2000 miles we will see which ones are better. and yes, kissofdeaths website is extremely helpful, but the overall task is not as bad as it would seem.
