CDI = Wheelie time

First of all The 700s have more power than the 650, however install a CDI in a stock 650 and it will be a different story. I can't speak for the 700's but a modded 650 & CDI, a 700 is no contest. So I'd assume both (650/700) with the same mods a 700 would still win due to displacement & 2-5 HP difference.
I Thought Kawiyowee Answered your question on how much power difference the CDI made without the orange/blue spring. The CDI & orang/Blue spring will pull even harder, plus not peter out at 6500 and pull all the way to 8500-9200 RPM cutout

mudblaster: I believe it gives somehwere in that 5 hp range....the dyna cdi on the P700 feels like it gives a little more than on my P650, but it definitely makes a difference on both of them.
One of the things I enjoy most about our Prairies is being able to idle down a steep hill while other brands brake lights are on the whole way down. If the orange/blue spring takes that away as you say, I will go with Dalton blue, or the EPI pink or maroon. Just being able to sit back and enjoy the scenery at idle is worth more that any particular primary spring to me, so I sure agree with you on that point. BTW, I never had that free wheeling problem on the P650 using the pink spring on the primary.
P.S: That's a heck of a bumper you got there.
