Yes to both questions.
I got my Bike license last year and started out with a Katana 750. That only lasted a month before my 35 year old back could not handle the riding position. I traded it in on the Fizzy and am loving every minute of it except for waiting on winter to go away, very impressive Bike.

I am prairiedust over there as well just cause it was easier.

Im plainsman over there. I have had 2 fizzys, it seems to be those things are so much more refined than the quads IMO. I thought my bike make noises until I bought the Paririe

So is your bike modded, like your prairie? Im 31 and enjoy the fz1 ride too. Although I give that rear preload a good run for its money.

Iv done the AIS removal, Dale's Kit, timing advnacer, Muzzy exhaust. About it other than a few little things. I have 12,000 miles on my 02 silver.

No mods yet but I was thinking of Dales kit myself as I don't like the idea of having to drill larger holes in the airjets with Ivans kit.
I usually find myself modifying everything I own to get more power but I am not sure its necessary in the case of the FZ1. I am more after getting rid of the slight stumble at takeoff. Probably will throw in a scorpion slip-on to improve the sound as well.

Does the timing advancer come with Dales kit?

Dale's kit comes with the advancer yes. I wasnt all that intersted in wringing out the last HP either, I just wanted better starting and running. His kit is pretty simple, biggest pain is getting the carbs in and out. I rode a guy with Ivans kit and it did seem a bit snappier, but thats fine with me. Dale is a great guy, answers questions quickly. If he made an ATV kit I would buy it. It seems the ATV stuff is more voodo and tinkering.
