450cc 4x4- yeah, that would be great rutwad- The P400 was a great thing, then they canned it, and the P300 and made the P360. I totally agree- the 360needs to grow to about a 450. Just might happen- never know.........

A better handling BF with EFI. The suspension on the BF needs some tweaking by most reports. A well designed EFI would eliminate all the dicking around with carbs and increase mileage which is a plus now that gas is 2.00+ a gallon and probably increase power while doing it.

That is what I'd like anyway.

If kawasaki did listen to EVERYTHING we said they would be pretty confused. I mean, before the Brute the major complaint was "i wish they made a prairie with IRS". thats all i ever heard, cuz i said it too. Now a bunch of people complain. you still have the 650 and 700 sra.

rutwad, Thats ok its kinda cool seeing how many guys want the same things I do. I was thinking of trying to e-mail a link to Kawi, to thsi thread. Not that they would listen but thought it couldn't hurt to try.

x2468, I Bought my 1st IRS quad back about 5 years ago, a polaris Sporstman 500. I thought it was the greatest thing ever put on a quad, IRS that is. However not long after I bought it and the novelty wore off. I found it to not only be the smoothest riding quad I ever owned but it was also the most borring. I soon after started to miss being able to power slide the back end, doing doughnuts and jumping little things. I then bought a Raptor in 2001 to get back the sporty ness the polaris lacked. I later in 2002 bought a Grizz 660 and sold the polaris. I discovered it wasn't just the lack of power it was the IRS that was really killing the fun factor. I was at first hessitent to go with a Kawi product especialy one with a name on it as lame as prairie. But luckily curiosity caused by all the rave reviews and the great things being said about them on the ATV connection, I finaly had to try one, a P650 that is, I was amaized that a Ute could be so much fun and still ride smooth. I found shortly after owning my P650 that I never wanted to ride my Grizz or my Raptor. I later sold both the grizz and raptor, they were just getting to dusty setting in the garage. The P650 was my first Kawi quad ever, and now I am hooked on them. I have my original P650 and it still runs great, Even though I have newer versions of it, I just can't bring myself to let her go. I recently bought a DS650 and after one trip to the dunes and about 15 minuts total ride time I could not get back to the truck quick enough to get back on one of my Twin peaks/prairies. I Took the DS back to the dealer the next week and raised hell till they agreed to take it back. My Twin peaks FST 800 would outrun the DS and rides much smoother. The Prairie chassis has spoiled me forever.

Yeah- Kawasaki's SRA is the best in teh business, don't see what all the hhopla is to change over to IRS. If it ain't broke, don't fix it......... We're still in the infancy of EFI, I think even Kawasai knows that so we probably won't see it very soon on their flagship 4x4..
