Just got the following back via e-mail from my boy in case it help ya out any...
"PRI is just like you told them, a setting that you would select if you ever needed to prime the carb w/ gas...I suppose after a long pd. without use or something like that (or after replacing the carb, gas tank, etc.) The other settings are just On and Res....like someone else said, it is always on, but won't leak out like some fuel valves of the past, since it is set up different. As for the Amsoil, I have Formula 4 Stroke 0w-40. It will cause no problems for the wet clutch as it is free of friction modifiers. The other motorcycle oils from Ams are also friction modifier FREE, and will work with the wet clutch fine, but they need to make sure not to just run Amsoil car motor oil, as it will likely cause slippage. Like you said to me, they should notice cleaner shifting since the oil also lubes the transmission in bikes set up like this".
