Default Prairie going dead

Lately my P700 goes dead when I come to a stop, and is often hard to re-crank. I also smell fuel when this happens, which leads me to believe that I am running too rich and the machine is flooding. Weird thing is, I can idle it up and it runs fine for a while, then back to the same thing. The machine is stock, with only 250 miles. Any thoughts?

Check your Choke plungers & stretch your spring another half inch & lube plungers. Also, ensure your choke cable is not sticking or you are inadvertantly turning on your choke.

Make sure rubber intake from carb to engine is not collapsing. Next take to dealer, thats what warranty is for!
Got fresh fuel? Been in the mud lately?
