Anyone running Nitrogen in there Tires??
#1
I had to recharge an Elka shock and was taking to a guy that sells Nitrogen. He told me he has sold Nitrogen to a few Motocross Racers for there tires. I know its used in race cars and in jet plane tires and also heard guys running tire ***** use it? Some benefits I guess are, its cleaner, dryer and will hold pressure better then air? But has anyone ever run it in there ATV tires? ~coop
PS: I was thinking Helium would be great and help with landing those double jumps!
But The only down fall is,, It would more then Likely Exploded!!!!!! ~LOL

I had a few racers at work ask me the same thing and have read up about it but never tried it as of yet.
Have a look at this link.... NITROGEN for tires

Ran Helium but couldn't keep it on the ground.
Use to run Nitrogen in dirt bike tires. But air is free!
Your'll wear out your tires before you'll notice any difference in anything.
most air loss is caused by bead separation and thorns.

I personally see 0 reasons to run nitrogen in ATV tires. Even in our race car tires the increase is only about 2lbs/ 100 degree in temp. Airplanes yes, race car tires, yes, but ATV tires; I don't see the point?
