Default Kawaskai Brute Problems

from new bike would not run at low revs. No needle update available due to world shortage. had to order a dynajet kit at my cost. Fixed problem. Other problems lost rear exhaust sheild, lost rear exhaust manifold bolts, Other main fault is water crossings steam from engine causing engine to miss badly.
Has anyone had or heard of a fix.
Other bikes I've owneed : KVF650, KVX700, KVF700 and never had any problems with these.
Interested in puting Dyna ignition. Any one know where I can order these over the web.

Hey MentalMojave, curious on how your bike preforms with the clutch kit, cdi, and airfilter (with the 26 inch tires). Just put some 27's on today, and wheelee time has come to an end. Takes abit more juice to spin them. I can still fling mud/dirt 20 feet in the air, just cant seem to get the front end up anymore. Thanks for any reply's from you or any others.

Colin

I still have no trouble standing the front end up. My mudlites are quite a bit lighter than your gators I'm sure but the clutch kit should be your next mod. The dalton kits use rivets which you remove or replace with lighter ones when you put large tires on. Or if you go back to light tires you just add the original rivets back in place. Ver nice with the adjustability.

Thanks Mentalmojave. Ever since I asked for the larger tires, I've been pondering the idea of clutching it. That'll be my next investment. I must say though, the traction of the new tires compared to the stockers is unreal. And I wouldn't go back even for the wheelees.
