Default Lakota vs Mojave

Yeah yeah, I know. But who is quicker, does the 50cc make up for the auto and the wieght of the Lakota. I was a thinkin of getting a Mojave for a second machine and let the wife use the Lakota, but can you imagine if she beat me racing because she had more horses?

Well it all depends on the rider, i know i can take a stock mojave, but that maybe cuz of all my parts, you would probably like the mojave more cuz its a clutch, les weight and more fun to ride. lakota's and mojave are about even in a race stock for stock but the lakota is slower off the line, but id have to say both quads are great machines.

the lakota has more bottom end and the mojave has more top end stock but i suspose if both were modded out to the fullest with bore kits and stroker cranks, cams, oversized valves, pipes and all that other stuff, the mojave would have 370ccs and the lakota would have 400 so with both machines completely modded the lakota would probally be a slightly faster machine but the mojave also has 2 more valves and 2 cams. kinda a tough call

I do have to say, I love having the racks when we go out on long trips and still have a sporty suspension.

Well you can still buy racks for the mojave but id keep the lakota if i were you, they are a great quad and you can make them fast as hell. Lakota's are a unbeatable 300, and they are great all around quads.

Lakota and mojave are pretty much equal in performance, one may have a little more power than the other, but you'd never know it.Thats how close they are.

Mojave will respond alot better to mods than the Lakota will because it has a DOHC and 4 valves. Mojaves get pretty fast when you start building the engines, its like a miniture ninja engine, what do you expect you happen?
