First things first get a good set of aftermarket tires/rims on the thing that makes all the differance in handling, and getting the power to the ground, my second choice would be an ignition module, i have a dg5 its a night and day differance. Third i would go with a clutch kit, i have yet to get one but from what i hear it is worth it. Fourth would be exaust, i have a full hmf exaust and it sounds awsome, of course then you'd need to get the proper jetting. As for the tie rods i haven broken any yet but i have replacements for when i do. Also if you plan on getting into mud and such like it was mentioned before cv guards are a must i blasted 3 cv boots off before i learned my lesson, and last if you plan on hitting any water at any speed you need something to keep the water out of the air box i.e a snorkle or splash guard. all are good choices and any way you go you wont be wrong cause the brute is a mean machine
