FST is Four Stroke Tech and 900cc kit is about $2500 just for the kit. Not including all the other upgrades you will need to make it work. Bigger carbs and all. They have an add in dirt wheels.

justgo..

You don't need a big bore to beat a piped preddy. Check out my pic's. My cousin has a piped preddy that used to spank my V. After I got the V dialed in with bolt on mods and re-worked intake, the tables turned.

By the way, You HAVE to mod the intake to get the V to breathe. Without a modded airbox, you'll never have your bike running to it's full potential

justgo....

I just cut a circular hole next to my origional snorkle and ran a flex hose to the front where it can get some cool air. If you don't want to tackle the trial and error of airbox modding, you can look at bartlettracing.com. Bob has complete airbox kits that are very popular and include correct jets.

As far as rejetting, any time you increase the amount of air going into the carbs, you will need to rejet. If you don't, in most cases if you don't rejet, your just going to cause a lean condition which can hurt your motor. Besides, as easy as it is to rejet these carbs, (10 minutes) why would you hesitate?

I really can't tell you which jet size to run. It depends on what altitude your riding at and how well your bikes breathing. I ran 2.5 inch flex, but have seen many others run different setups with good results. I also bought a jet kit from rockymountainatv.com. Others might tell you not to go with a jet kit, but I think it worked great. The kit also comes with guidelines as to which jets to go with for your altitude. If yout not up to installing a complete kit, you can just go to your dealer and get an assortment of jets to work with. The origional jet sizes are 135 front and 140 rear. Check your plugs and see how they look. If their black and sooty, your running rich and may want to go smaller on the jets while if their white colored, your running lean and want to go larger. What you want to look for is a chocolate milk color. When you add an aftermarket pipe, you almost always want to go bigger on jets unless your bike was already running rich to begin with. The jets you change are only the mains. Hope this helps........
