Default more v force axle stuff, sorry, but please help..

hello all, been a long time. i think my name on here used to be higgsV, but i couldn't remember so i joined again. still recognize some of the names here, that's cool. about a year ago i landed short on a double and bent my axle. i put it in the garage and kind of forgot about it 'till now. just got a durablue and am ready to go ridin!! i did some searches to get info, but not many of the axle/bearing questions get answered. so here goes my attempt: i understand there is a bearing issue, even called kawi-tech and got nothing from them, which seems amazing to me! "have to buy new oem axle to get the bearing"--then ruin the bearing trying to take it off, right? obviously the old axle wasn't enough so it was time to upgrade!! anyone figure the bearing stuff out? i have the one that kawi sells already waiting.....need the other. also just wondering how hard the actual swap is besides the bearing dilema? thank you for any help you can give.........Sean

You can reuse the stock bearing. It may even just slide off. The hard part is getting the HUGE retainer nut off the axle . I would suggest taking it to a machine or mechanic shop. The have the presses and the large tools to get it done.
