Default Question on the slip on exhaust for a BF 750

I was looking at putting on a slip on exhaust from HMF on my BF rather than the full system. I know that a person has to rejet the carbs when putting the aftermarket on but what my question is if I were to change back and forth from the HMF back to the factory from time to time if it would do anything engine wise or bring the performance down quite a bit. I love the sound of the HMF(it really livens the V-Twin up) but I use it to move cattle quite a bit and it would be too loud when doing that. Just wondering if anyone knew.

I took my hmf utility seriesoff, because it was too loud. You could probably run the stock pipe, but it would be extra rich. I personally took the main jets and the pilot jets back out, but left the shims. It runs real good.
