Today I was winching a big tree out of the woods and I was working the winch awful hard but after a little bit my winch would stop pulling and my bike would stall out and bog down when I was on the switch. Do you guys think it was too much for my battery to handle?? Is there any bigger batteries that would fit in there without serious modifications?? Let me know what you think. TIA

 

COuld it be that your winch cable is binding on the spool????

If it isn't fed in straight and layed down evenly, that could be the result.
