Air fuel mixture screws fell out will it hurt?
First let me start by saying I have a very modified airbox for max air flow. I also have a dynojet jet kit. I think my quad has been running lean on bottom cause it backfires when I let off the gas from idle to mid throddle and the fan has been running more than usual. I had the jet kit installed and the mechanic said he put it on the richest settings recomended but I've already had to bump up the mains quite a bit. Anyway I adjusted the mixture screws out and it lessend the backfiring but today while trail riding it started running rough and after looking the mixture screws had apparently backed all the way out. After seeing this I decided I would just cover the holes and limp back to the truck, but to my amazement no backfiring and it ran better than ever. After seeing how well it ran I thought I would cap the holes and haul butt but I was wondering if it would damage my quad if I left the screws out and just sealed the opeanings. If it dosen't hurt I am leaving it cause my bike has ALOT more bottom and midrange power and runs alot cooler.
