05 Prarie 360 4x4 stalling problems
#11
OK--heres the lowdown--Did the modified valve adjustment---dont really understand what it was supposed to do---I kinda thought it was going to disconnect the pull start compression release but it didnt--pull start feels about the same---my exhaust valve was a little tight so i opened it up a little--intake valve was right on the money--My engine is running so good right now I didnt notice any improvement---but in the past the engine ran terrible cold and would stall occasionally when stopping real hard from a fast run---gotta tell you, no way can i get it to stall---although its not cold here, when i first started it with the engine cold--it idled perfectly---I am not sure if this modified valve adjustment (as I call it) worked or not, but it sure didnt hurt

well the problem is if you exahust vavle is a little to tight causing it not to release. the compression relase for the pull start is rpm activated so you wont feel. it but if it is hung your engine will know when you crank it cause it if its hung it will leave the exhuast valve open just a hair causeing it to run like crap.
well all i know is it worked on my 360 and my buds one.
keep the rubber side down.

it could be kebc or the valve adjustment could be to high. i have a regular 05 prarie i use for work and fun . i have had to adjust the valves. the actuator makes this wierd noise before it starts and some times while i drive. but i believe praries are pretty reliable. in 6 years i have put over 400+ hrs on it.
