Default Lakota lowend

Im the new owner of a 95 Lakota, thing thats a little different is that it has 27" ag tires on it.

I rode it last year in the local mudrun and the gearing is still stock (12/43)

I figured id get a 11 front but thats all I can find for different things for this machine. I need more lowend.

The way it is now, at 45mph its no where near its top rpm. Id like to have it so that 45 is its top speed and its winding right there.

So does anyone know fo any other sources (other machines) to get sprockets from thatt could help.

wow 27 inch tires are huge for a lakota and they dont make any sprocket smaller then 11t for a lakota or a mojave, i think you should get some 22 inch tires for it because those 27's are probally making the engine work way to hard too

you won't want to go any smaller than 11 tooth on the front... you're better off looking for a bigger rear sprocket that will go onto your axle... I saw the pics of your quad with the 27's... it looks awesome... BTW...I'm modding out a 300 Prairie, & it is essentally the same motor, but with a CVT & shaft drive... so you should be fine, if you can find a rear sprocket 10-20% larger than the stock one... & of course you will then need more / longer chain also...
