black plastic on prarie 650 ia a disgrace
I was wondering if anyone else is having so much trouble with their black plastic cracking on the fenders and connected to the floorboards? Everytime I ride I seem to have to replace these parts,
Anybody got a fix, it seems like they crack at the screws, and then get torn off. Kawie rally should
have designed these parts better. They are too brittle and thin for an off road machine. Has anybody
removed them completely or cut back some material in places? I tried just snugging the attachment screws but then they vibrated loose or off. Any suggestions would be appreciated as They do add
up to some $. Thanks !

Best thing you can do for the black plastic is to run a 3 inch section 1/2' dexion across each seam and secure with nut and bolt/washers. Just hammer the dexion flat and use the holes already in the dexion (Type dexion you mount your garage door opener with).

my brother has gone through 2 sets of the black trim pieces on his prairie and has had it. first they just ripped from normal trail riding, the next set while it was frozen, plowing snow they cracked and broke while loading it on the trailer. he did doulble face tape them and screw them with over sized washers. he now has made a set of black pieces for in front of your feet(the larger pieces) out of mudflaps, traced a pattern and cut it out with a jigsaw, all in all it looks good, its doesnt rip or freeze and crack.
