HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU GET THIS GEAR OFF,,
Im trying to take the head off but i cant get this bolt to break lose,,
it there a cam tool, or somthing to stop it from turning ,,
And is it a left or right handed therds???

i have never done this before so im not positive but try using a impact gun or air ratchet to zap it off, if you cant get it off give your dealer a call..................let us all know if you could get it off...........

 

what i do to get the cam gear off on my 220 bayou is take off the recoil start and then put a bar in between the part that the recoil start catches on and the foot peg and it will keep the engine from turning over and the bolt comes right out.

 

Ya I finnaly had a frend come over and help he , we put a screw driver in the way of the gear to stop it from turning, whiched work just fine.

But now that Im in the motor I cant get the rist pin out of the connecting rod?? removed both of the retaning clipes from the piston but the pin is acting like it was pressed in to the connecting rod?? true or Im I doing somthing rong??
