Mojave with 400ex carb tuning...
#11
Thanks for the compliments everyone. It's great to here what others think!! The Mojave is somewhat a spare time project and my progress is coming along nicely. The quad doesn't really look like the pictures at the moment because I just got back from a vacation in Northern Michigan and the quad needs about 10 hours worth of cleaning . Michigan mud sticks!!!
holeshotz8436, I really like the Works shocks. They keep up with all the abuse I dish out and are much better than the stock shocks.
ElectricShift, I think the fenders set me back about $300 after shipping from Rocky Mountain 2 years ago.

How does your Mojave run with the new carb? Is your quad more responsive and snappy compared to stock? Does it have more low end? Finally, were you able to keep the stock airbox? Thanks for any info!

rockrider,
For the riding I do and the modifications I have done, yes the carb swap was worth it. The acceleration is extremely smooth throughout the entire power range and the accelerator pump definitely added to the throttle response.
