Actually, the KX450F was revealed almost two years ago. It has been under development in the Japanese National MX series. Yes, it will have four valves, dual overhead cams, and an asymmetrical aluminum frame. As far as I know, it hasn't seen US soil yet. Rumors abounded that Bubba would ride one for the outdoor season, but that isn't true. It should be here as an 06 model, possibly a little later than the standard KXs come out. After that, I would estimate that it would be at least six months before we see a KXF450 quad. The only reason why it would be delayed is to get some real-world experience with it and change the engine's characteristics to suit the ATV crowd. Don't quote me on a timeframe, though. Kawasaki is notorious for being late to the party. However, when they finally show up, they usually bring some impressive merchandise.

they had to go back and redesign the frame on the 450 dirtbike,it cracked.so i say its going to be at least 3years before a 450 quad comes from them

 

Why don't they just stuff the 450 motor into the Z/KFX frame?

 

i am saying that motor will have to much power for a stock kfx400 frame...maybe they should just beef up the frame a little and hange the plastics and all it a kfx450r. somethhing like that....
