Nothing different? Maybe for the ATVs, but not so for the KX line-up. Go here, scroll to the bottom, and have a look. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what this means to the ATV community. Will there be a KXF450 this year? I doubt it, but this is a good indicator of future possiblities.

I have looked at the kawie website and they list nothing about 2006 so I have to say this statement is false. I know for a fact that 2 new machines are coming , they will unveiled in a couple of months, kawie nearly always has late releases just like they did this year with the BF 650.

The Info is from an official press release including pictures of the new colors. Just copy and past the link, but be sure to take out the * and check it out for yourself. The info is from Kawi. Thats not to say they can't do a late release like they did with the BF650 last year.

My dealer said the research facility he is going to the week after 4th of July is information on what direction kawie is going with the 2007 line up and future ideas. The only thing he believes he knows is for 2007, kawie will have a BF800efi with slightly different IRS and possibly a prairie or BF 500 v-twin. He will have more information on the 9th of July.

Thats still nothing I would be planning to buy. I still think they need to put an 800EFI twin in the SRA prarrie chassis and give the IRS cr@@@P a rest. They won every award/shootout there was with a SRA for several years in a row. I still think all they need to do to stay on top is stick with what works and keep going with the power bumps as needed. Much cheaper than continuse R&D work on there IRS system, IMO the one they have is in no way capable of handeling even more power, the 750i needs the 650 and the BF650 SRA needs the 750 motor then they would at least be in the hunt. I bought and several friends and family members bought the prairies and Twin peak prairies for there outstanding stability and fun factor thats just not there on the IRS model. I had my own 800 Prairie/twinpeaks built because I did not want to wait. If they ever offer a factory 800 SRA chassis with EFI I will be first in line to buy another one.
They could have at least gave the BF650 the new silver color too. I might have bought one of those or at least bought the plastic and updated one of mine.
Don't get me wrong, for the money the I still think the BF650 and Prairie 700's are awsome machines, they are however starting to fall behind in the power wars. They just need a little bump in power and maybe EFI and IMO kawi will have another winner.
