Default KFX700 filter cage

Okay, last year my dad bought a 700 from my dealer ship that already had pipes, K&N, and jets. It was sitting in the show room w/ those mods so we took it home and a year later (this year) I found out that the K&N does not filter all the dirt.
I bought a UNI now and I guess you need a cage or some thing to put the foam filter filter over.
What did the stock filter look like?

PLEASE HELP, thank you.

the stock filter mounts to this support peice with 3 wing nuts, the same way the K&N mounts. The K&N will filter fine with an outerwears on it and make sure you grease the bottom of the filter seal, that way no dust or dirt can sneek past that way.
