Default BF750 ITP Wheels - Different backspace front/rear??

I just got a set of 26" ATR Holshots on ITP black alluminum wheels. The front and rear wheels have different backspacing is that how it is supposed to be? The front rims have lots of backspace (they suck the tires in to about stock width) and the rear rims have almost no backspace (the tires stick way out) is this right? I was expecting the same rims both front and rear.

I put the tires on my quad and the rear tires stick out way too far. Half the tread is outside the fender. It looks freakin rediculous.

Mine stick out about 1" all around. The wheels I bought are actually for a Grizz, or a Rinny. They are both the same as the BF.
