yeah i saw that too.said coming out in oct, didn't say what year in oct.don't believe what you read in dirtwheels they suck.they tell you what you want to hear to sell mags, all they have is adds in their mag. hope its true but it came from dirtwheels. from what i heard it will be 2007 before kaw has a race quad, and it will be efi 500cc machine.kaw not into mx quad racing like suz ,honda ,and yamaha..kaw is more into xc racing

I was at the dealer today. The service manager said they already got word on the 450. He said it would have a 4 speed tranny (like some MX bikes). He said after that news the dealer cut their order in half, figuring its market appeal was limited.

500cc would be a great idea to 1-up the Yamaha and Honda offerrings. 99% of consumers will not participate in an event requiring a 450cc limit anyway. Ya got to shake things up, not blend in with everyone else. .

I agree. The average Joe who buys one of these isn't an MX'er, but somebody who just wants the most kick-*** quad he can buy. And chances are, if he enters anything, it'll be a GP where any displacement is okay.

I guess I can't be too critical yet. We haven't even seen it.
