I'm shoping around for a used prarie 650 or 700 and I've got some simple questions hopefully people here can answer.
Did the plastic change when the motor was bumped up to 700cc?
Are there any bad years for the Prairie 650 or 700, like on the Grizzly where Yamaha used smaller CV shafts for a few months of production?
Are there any problems I should look for when looking at used prairies?

 

Stay away from the 2002 650's, they has a bad air cleaner design and a few other issues related to first year syndrom, the 700 are much faster than the 650 from what I am told, but my 650 is the fastest quad of all the ones I ride with.
