I have a prairie 300 4X4 with 500 miles on it . I just baught it. When you first start to give it throttle the motor speeds up and the bike starts jerking a little until it starts to move. After it gets to moving everything if fine. What is wrong? Is there an adjustment for this.

I dunno what kind of tranny is on that thing, but if it's a CVT or similar it sounds like a belt adjustment.

If its an auto, sounds like normal operation & just the primary clutch spring engaging. If you want less stall choose a spring with less stall.. EPI pink or almond, etc. Also visit http://www.700v.com and look at the spring rates to see what stall your spring has.

Happy trails
