What do you haul your KFX700 with?
I'm thinking about buying a KFX700 but I'm concerned about the size. I have a 00 Dodge Dakota (regular cab, 6.5" bed) and I would love to just place it in the bed to haul it. Has anyone hauled this bike with a truck this size or smaller? I don't want to buy this bike unless I can move it around since most of my riding will probably require me to drive places.

I have hauled my V around in a 97 Dakota short bed with no problems. you might have to drive the front tire over one of the wheelwells, but it's not hard to load/unload. I usually tote my V around in my 88 toyota short bed, and it fit's just fine.

I have a KFX-700 and a dakota. It fits fine lenght wise but is a little tight when it comes to width. You can fit between the wheelwells but the tires sqeek when you go through. I dont usually haul mine in the dakota I use the Ram for that, but it will fit in the dakota as well

I was initally pretty concerned about fitting my V into a Tacoma X-tra Cab. I nearly launched through the cab on the first attempt (picking it up from the dealer BTW...) as the front-tires hit the wheel-wells while the rear-tires were still sitting on the ramp. Sure got the pucker factor up in a hurry, but no damage done to either bike or truck. Length of the bike fits nicely in the bed, can get tailgate up no problem. After a few times of practice, it's a non-issue - just need fine control on the throttle.
I wouldn't let this detract from your thoughts on buying one - it is simply an awesome bike. You can always buy a $300.00 trailer from Costco if you don't like the bed...
Best of luck.
