I am going to change the oil in my kfx, I have not done it yet and do not have a service manual.

what type of oil do you all use, How much does it call for? I have never changed the oil in this thing, I am very Mechanically inclined. I almost feel embarrassed for asking.

 

I use moterx and it takes 2 quarts. you can get motorx out of chapperral

 

Does that motorx have a weight, or is it specifically for 4 stroke quads/bikes.

 

I use 10w40 Amsoil. No problems at all.

And yes without a filter change it's 2qts, and 2.1 with the new filter.
